Koh Tao may have risen in fame as a scuba diving mecca but it has much more to offer than just underwater delights. This tiny island packs a lot in, from hiking trails up to dizzying view points, to cooking classes, Yoga lessons, and of course plenty of lounging on the beach.

If you are interested in scuba diving you’ve definitely come to the right place. With a multitude of dive sites within an easy 40-minute or less boat ride away, divers will enjoy searching for the best marine life Koh Tao has to offer, including moray eels, stingrays, large schools of barracuda and trevally, and of course the elusive whale shark.

The most convenient airport to fly into is Koh Samui, from which there is an easy ferry transfer to Koh Tao.

Several ferry companies including Lomprayah and Seatran offer ferry service from the mainland and from our neighboring islands of Koh Samui and Koh Phangnan to Koh Tao.

Transportation on Koh Tao

While here you can choose to make use of the readily available taxis or rent a motorbike. It is also possible to walk from Villa YoYo into town and back.
